Tourniquets are used to produce a relatively bloodless surgical field during surgical procedures on the arms and legs. Another area of application for tourniquets is intravenous regional anaesthesia (IVRA). All tourniquets feature easy handling in the OR environment and a comprehensive safety concept for patients and users. Matching cuffs for single or multiple use as well as further accessories complete the product line.

Easy and intuitive operation
The tourniquet is operated via simple, easy-to-understand symbols on a language-neutral touch screen. Individual settings for pressure and time enable a rapid starting point for blood arrest.Numerous safety functions

Bilateral use and IVRA application
With heidiTM and sophieTM, surgeries can be performed simultaneously on both arms or both legs, or on an arm and a leg. Two colour-coded connections as well as the colour assignment on the touch screen, hoses, and cuffs enable simple and uncomplicated IVRA applications.

Versions
The touch screen tourniquets are available in three versions: with elsaTM, heidiTM and sophieTM, we offer the ideal device to suit all requirements.
The tourniquet elsa™ is suitable for all classic tourniquet applications. An integrated rechargeable battery and compressor ensure that the device is ready for use anytime and anywhere. elsa™ is the classic among the tourniquets. It is ideally suited for mounting on a mobile stand or surgical tower.

The tourniquet heidi™ is the mobile all-rounder for all conceivable applications. The integrated battery and compressor as well as the two connections enable heidi™ to meet any challenge. It is the most flexible device among the tourniquets and is ideally suited for mounting on a mobile stand or surgical tower.

The tourniquet sophie™ is the ideal device for tourniquet applications via the central gas supply. sophie™ is characterised by its light weight and silent application. It is the most convenient of the tourniquets and is ideally suited for mounting on a standard rail.

Accessories
The disposable cuffs fit perfectly with all hygiene concepts. Irrespective of the hospital and surgical processes, disposable cuffs guarantee hygienic safety and reliability. The disposable cuffs offer your personnel flexibility and also help to reduce their workload.
Available in sizes 2XS to 2XL (parallel shape) and XL (conical shape) as well as an IVRA version for regional anaesthesias.
The reusable cuffs are made of comfortable high-tech synthetic fibres. They can be steam-sterilised and reused without hesitation. Thanks to the elasticity of the fabric, the cuffs can be fitted perfectly. Since the cuffs can be disassembled into their component parts, a long service life and high cost-effectiveness with up to 50 reprocessing cycles are guaranteed. Available in sizes 2XS to 3XL.
