The new ATMOS LC 27 doesn’t come with a lot of controls. Instead, it has just the ones you really need. They’re coloured blue and designed in such a way that you as the user cannot make any mistakes when performing bronchial suction.
Dishwasher-proof, single-patient secretion canister
Made of dishwasher-proof plastic, the canister can be removed effortlessly from the suction device after suctioning and cleaned with commercial cleaning products — by hand or simply in a dishwasher.
Portable with matching carrying bag
Especially those patients who are mobile desire a suction solution when they’re on the go. That’s why the ATMOS LC 27 comes in both a mains-operated and a battery-operated version. It only weighs 3.5 kg and comes with a matching carrying bag so you can take the bronchial suction device with you wherever you go.

The DDS bacterial filter cartridge is a single-patient product. That means that the DDS bacterial filter cartridge must be replaced when the device is changed to another patient. When the device is being used for the same patient, the DDS bacterial filter cartridge has to be replaced every 14 days (provided the device is being used). Should the filter cartridge become contaminated or clogged with secretion, it must be replaced immediately.
The suction hose has to be replaced every 4 weeks.
The secretion canister system of the ATMOS LC 27 is designed to be used for one patient only. When the device is being used for one patient, the secretion canister can be cleaned with commercially available cleaning agents — either by hand or simply in a dishwasher.
The single-patient secretion canister system can be boiled a maximum of 30 times. After that, the single-patient secretion canister must be replaced.
No. This special filter cartridge was designed to protect the device against oversuction and to protect patients / third parties from the danger of contamination. It is not possible to operate the device without the filter cartridge. For this reason, always keep at least one DDS bacterial filter replacement ready.
The battery operation time of the ATMOS LC 27 Battery is approximately 60 minutes (when the battery is fully charged).
Yes. If the battery is completely discharged, the device can be operated on the mains.
The ATMOS LC 27 Battery can be taken along on plane trips in checked or carry-on baggage without difficulty. It is possible to operate the device during a flight. Individual instructions from the flight crew and airline-specific regulations must still be followed.
