MEDAP VENTA SP 26
Powerful
The high-performance MEDAP VENTA SP 26 has a high flow rate, enabling it to draw blood, septic fluid, vomit, and serous fluids quietly from both natural and artificial body orifices. This feature makes it ideal for nasal and oral bronchial aspiration applications and for endoscopy. Specially developed for universal, continuous use on wards, the portable bronchial aspirators are perfect for use in hospitals, clinics, and medical practices or in military medical services.
Time-saving
due to the special recessed grip in the vacuum controller, which indicates the set vacuum at all times
Quiet
thanks to the specially developed piston motor
Safe
thanks to a special mechanism that makes oversuction of the aspirator impossible
Applications
- Intensive care unit
- Operating room / anesthesiology
- Normal ward
- In-hospital transport
- In-hospital emergencies
- Doctor's practice
Vacuum setting
The vacuum is set via a ring-shaped vacuum controller surrounding the 63 mm gauge. This ring can be adjusted very precisely with just one finger. The position of the recessed grip indicates the desired vacuum.
Oversuction protection
Thanks to a special mechanism, the MEDAP VENTA SP 26 can only be operated with the hydrophobic bacterial and viral filter installed. This prevents usage errors and avoids high repair costs.
Quieter and with less vibration
The specially developed, powerful piston motor is so quiet that it is barely noticeable even in continuous operation — for the well-being of staff and patients.
Elegant, compact design
The housing is not only attractive, but also extremely practical because it makes cleaning easier. An integrated carrying handle allows easy transport.
Flexible mounting options
A special aspirator holder allows easy mounting on equipment rails with various dimensions as well as on horizontal and vertical round pipes.

FAQ
Conventional bronchial aspirators have a control dial that does not show which vacuum is set. That also means it is not possible to recognise whether the vacuum has been changed since the last time suction was performed. Thus, the set vacuum must be checked by kinking the suction tube before each suction process. With the vacuum controller on the MEDAP VENTA SP 26, the vacuum setting is particularly quick and easy to recognise thanks to the recessed grip. The vacuum controller always indicates the set vacuum. There is no need for time-consuming checking and readjustment of the set vacuum before each suction process.
An effective overflow protection device can be connected to conventional aspirators, but it doesn’t have to be. In practice, the overflow protection device is frequently forgotten, causing oversuction of the aspirator. However, oversuction always results in costly repairs which usually involve replacing the entire motor. With the MEDAP VENTA SP 26, the suction tube cannot be connected directly to the aspirator. A special hydrophobic bacterial and viral filter must first be inserted into the MEDAP VENTA SP 26 before the suction tube can be connected to it.
The hydrophobic bacterial and viral filter must be replaced in the event of oversuction. In this case, the replacement of the filter costs significantly less than a repair due to the ingress of secretion into the aspirator. Furthermore, the filter must be changed if the vacuum displayed is stronger than –300 bar / –30 kPa when the vacuum controller is in the ‘max.’ position and the suction tube is open.

Accessories
The MEDAP VENTA SP 26 can be mounted on a trolley for mobile use.
In addition to a trolley, ATMOS also offers an aspirator holder for easy attachment to equipment rails or vertical and horizontal round pipes.
A hydrophobic bacterial and viral filter prevents the aspirator from becoming contaminated and protects the product against bacteria and viruses.
Both reusable and disposable canister systems can be attached to the equipment carrier on the aspirator's side.
